Ordering and Dispatching
When will I receive my delivery?
We can delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Please remember whilst the internet is open 24/7 all year, as a business there are certain times when we cannot dispatch, these are often during UK Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day etc. We hope you will appreciate we need a day off occasionally too!
Who delivers my order?
We use a reliable next day courier service to delivery. Deliveries can be made at any time during the working day, usually between 9am-5.00pm.
How is it packed?
Each order is carefully hand packed into insulated secure boxes with ice-pack refrigerant. On arrival your order should be keep refrigerated or stored somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.
What’s the delivery charges?
It’s Free delivery UK mainland for each individual address (order value £70.00+)
£10.00 delivery charge UK mainland for each individual address (order value less than £70.00).
Delivery to non-UK mainland locations (e.g. Scottish Islands, Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly) often incur additional charges. Please contact us directly to enquire.
Can I receive a delivery anywhere?
We regret currently we do not send goods beyond the UK.
Important things to remember
Please request a delivery date that you/or recipient will be in to receive your parcel.
If you request for your parcel to be left in a safe place at your address (e.g. garden shed, with neighbour etc.) clear instructions must be stated on the order.
We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect addresses being provided, please ensure you provide contact name, full postal address, postcode and contact telephone number.
Never fresher, Never better!
What makes us very different from the vast majority of other smokehouses is that we never freeze down stocks, most others do, especially at Christmas time. Every product smoked at our Smokehouse is produced fresh in singular small batches by hand. Yes, this does take a lot more time and effort but the results really do make all the difference in terms of freshness, provenance, quality … And taste. Therefore please may we kindly request that you allow us as much notice as possible to prepare and dispatch your bespoke order.
The Unexpected
We always strive to do the very best we can to make sure our customers are happy but sometimes things can go wrong that are beyond our control and may cause delay or cancellation as a result of road closures, traffic accidents, storms, heavy snow and very bad weather, fire, flood, war, dispute or an act of god.
Complaints, Returns Procedure
Due to the very fresh nature of our products we do not offer a returns policy. In the very unlikely event you are unhappy with your goods or your product arrives in poor condition we ask that you contact us immediately. it helps to take a photograph of any damaged product and email it to us.
